Modified Axle Brackets for Stihl and Viking Mowers
When making general repairs to your Stihl or Viking machine, Stihl have updated the axle bracket which secures to the housing of the lawnmower. They have introduced a new axle bracket fabricated with new material and a modified shape to improve functionality.
However this will have an impact if you have an older machine, meaning that in some models you will need to replace the older parts with the updated bracket and screws. On the other hand, if you have a newer machine you will not be able to use the previous versions.
You will need to additionally create pilot holes in chassis to secure the screws for the axle brackets.
