Here is a guide to help identify the recommended blades for you grass trimmer, brushcutter or clearing saw.

Mowing Head Selection:

Stihl Supercut

The two lines have been designed to mow lawn edges and small areas of grass around obstacles. The mowing lines automatically adjust for optimal cutting length.

Stihl AutoCut

The mowing lines are semi-automatic by tapping the mowing head on the ground. This is designed for mowing lawn edges, small areas of grass and around obstacles.

Stihl TrimCut

Two lines for trimming and mowing grass. To refill from the outside the spool needs to be removed, followed by manual readjustment of the line. The purpose is to mow lawn edges, small to medium areas and around obstacles.

Stihl PolyCut

The high cutting capacity enables it to cut larger areas of lawn. The plastic blades mow weeds around obstacles and small fields. In larger versions mowing lines can be used instead of the blades.

Stihl DuroCut

This enables the user to insert 2 or 4 lines, for mowing and thinning work as well as working in tough grass.
