Overview:
This Leather Clack is a replacement sealing flap for a 2" cast iron foot strainer to hose tail. The primary sealing element is natural leather designed to provide a flexible, conforming seat that prevents backflow and helps maintain pump prime in suction lines. It fits 2" nominal cast iron foot valve housings and is intended for use where a leather clack was originally fitted. Supplied individually, the part is for maintenance or repair of foot valves and strainers on water transfer pumps, irrigation equipment and similar systems where a simple one-way seal is required.
