The Mason Mate Shield Anchor - Loose Bolt, M8 x 40 (14 mm hole size), is a heavy‐duty mechanical fixing for solid masonry such as concrete, brick and natural stone. Made from durable steel with a corrosion‐resistant zinc passivated finish, it uses a four‐piece segmented shield and a captive expansion cone to deliver strong, reliable holding power. The loose bolt configuration suits fixtures with clearance holes and allows easy removal or replacement of the bolt without disturbing the shield. Drill a 14 mm hole, insert the anchor, then tighten the hex bolt to expand the shield against the substrate. Supplied and sold individually, it's a practical choice for mounting brackets, machinery feet, racking, handrails and other construction or garden equipment fixings.
