Overview:
This genuine Lister Petter oil seal (part number 359423) is designed for the gear end of Petter AA and AB industrial engines, and is also suitable for AC and AD variants. Built with a durable, oil‐resistant elastomer and a metal outer case, it provides a tight, stable seal where the rotating shaft passes through the housing. Its job is to retain lubricant and keep contaminants out, helping the engine maintain correct lubrication and performance. The outer diameter is 72.0 mm (2.83 in), ensuring the correct seating in the housing bore. Supplied as unused, old‐stock vintage inventory, the seal may show minor storage marks but remains fully serviceable. Ideal for repairs and routine maintenance on older plant, generators and pumps running Petter A‐series engines.
