Overview:
The Scan Moulded Disposable Mask Valved FFP1 Protection is a lightweight, cup-shaped particulate respirator for low-to-moderate dust levels on site and in the workshop. Made from durable multi‐layer filter media with a soft inner lining, it helps reduce inhalation of coarse, non‐toxic airborne particles such as brick, cement, concrete and plaster dust. A one‐way exhalation valve eases breathing during physical work by reducing heat and moisture inside the mask. The adjustable nose clip and soft foam nose piece help achieve a closer seal, while elasticated head straps keep the mask in place. Supplied in a box of 10 for convenient stocking on jobs, model SCAPPEP1MVB conforms to EN149:2001 + A1:2009 (FFP1). Suitable when using drills, sanders, grinders, saws and during general site clearing. Not for gases, vapours, oil mists or asbestos.

Typical Applications:
Hand and power sanding, drilling and chasing in masonry, mixing and bagging cement, cutting or raking mortar, sweeping up site dust, working with plaster and filler, and handling mineral wool/loft insulation. Common on building, renovation and maintenance jobs where nuisance dusts are present. Not suitable for solvents, welding fumes, spray painting, fine silica exposures requiring higher class, or hazardous fibres such as asbestos.
