Overview:
This black heat‐shrink tubing is a flexible polyolefin sleeve designed to insulate, protect, and tidy electrical connections and cable joints. Supplied on a 10 metre roll, it is easy to cut to length for workshop, site, or toolbox use. The 6.4 mm nominal diameter (as supplied) suits small harnesses and connector backshells, while the 2:1 shrink ratio allows it to recover down to around 3.2 mm for a snug, secure finish. When heated with a suitable heat gun, it conforms tightly to conductors and terminations, helping to prevent shorts, reduce strain on joints, and improve abrasion resistance. Suitable for automotive wiring, garden and construction machinery, plant equipment, trailers, generators, pumps, and general electrical repairs where a neat, reliable insulation is required.
