Today we are going to change the spark plug on a Stihl FS 56 Brushcutter. Remove the protective cap to gain access to the spark plug. Using a 16mm hex socket and wrench loosen the spark plug and remove. The end of the spark plug should be dry and a light brown colour, this means your carburettor is set right and your machine is running efficiently. Screw in the new spark plug by hand then carefully tighten with a 16mm hex socket and wrench. Caution, Do not over tighten as this may damage the thread. Now you can replace the protective cap.
