Today we're going to change the complete recoil assembly on a Husqvarna K760 Disc Cutter. Firstly using a torx spanner, remove the four torx screws which secure the assembly in place. You can now remove the recoil assembly and the air conductor. Then check the parts for any sign of damage or wear. A tip when you are replacing the recoil assembly is to lie the machine on its side this makes it easier for secure into place. Now place in the air conductor, ensuring it's in the correct place and that there is minimal movement. Place your new complete recoil assembly over the top of the air conductor ensuring it's seated correctly. Secure the recoil assembly on using a torx spanner to fix the torx screws in. Ensure the recoil is working correctly and make sure it doesn't snag when starting the machine. That's how you change a complete recoil assembly on a Husqvarna K760 Disc Cutter.
