Overview:
The Dormer A002 HSS-TiN Coated Jobber Drill is a general‐purpose metal drilling bit made from high‐speed steel with a tough titanium nitride coating. It is designed for reliable, accurate holes in a wide range of materials using either hand drills or machine tools such as pillar drills and drill presses. The self‐centring split point helps start holes cleanly and reduces wandering on curved or hard surfaces. This size has a 21/64 inch tip diameter (approximately 8.33 mm), an overall length of 117 mm, and a working length of 75 mm. The gold‐coloured TiN coating lowers friction and improves wear resistance, extending tool life. Model references include A00221/64 and DOR2164TIN. Geometry and length conform to DIN 338 RN / BS 328 / ISO 235 standards.
