Overview:
The 3/8" Car Heater Hose SAE J20R3 (20 Metre) is a flexible, heat‐resistant hose for circulating hot water/engine coolant in vehicle heating circuits. Made from durable black EPDM rubber with synthetic textile reinforcement, it is designed for reliable service between the engine and the heater core in cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles. Supplied as a continuous 20 m coil for cutting to length, it has a 3/8 inch nominal bore (about 9.5 mm) with a specified Internal Diameter of 10 mm and an Outer Diameter of 17 mm. The hose is rated to 10 bar (145 psi) and weighs 240 g per metre for easy handling. Manufactured under part number 124 0270. Suitable for use with standard hose clips matched to the 17 mm O/D.
