Overview:
These 3.2 mm Low Hydrogen Welding Electrodes are basic-coated steel core consumables designed for joining high tensile and low alloy mild steels. Each rod is 350 mm long and supplied in a practical 5 kg pack for workshop or site use. Optimised for manual metal arc (MMA) welding, they run on both AC and DC machines and produce a stable arc with low spatter and smooth bead appearance. The alkaline, low-hydrogen flux helps reduce diffusible hydrogen in the weld pool, lowering the risk of cold cracking and improving toughness, especially in restrained joints and thicker sections. Suitable for all welding positions, including vertically down, they offer dependable results for fabrication, structural steelwork, and repair tasks across construction, manufacturing, and agricultural maintenance.
