You may notice on Stihl Oil and Lubrication products a date stamped onto the packaging. This is the date of production and not the expiry date. Although these products will have an expected expiry date after they are produced, this table explains their shelf life from their stamped production dates and it is recommended to not use it in your machine after this date:
