In this video, we show you how to Change the Stem Adapter on a Paslode IM65 Nail Gun.

Today we're going to replace the stem adapter on a Paslode IM65 Nailer. Remove the two screws from either side of the cap. Remove the 4 shoulder screws using the provided allen key. You can now remove the cap. Unplug the fan motor wires, spark wire and the insulator if removing the cylinder head. Then remove the cylinder head by twisting. (THIS IS PERSONAL PREFERENCE, AND CAN BE ACHIEVED KEEPING CYLINDER HEAD IN NAILER) Prise the stem adapter out from the bottom of the cylinder head. Check, then replace with new if necessary. Push the new stem adapter back into the cylinder head. Place the cylinder head back into position if removed, along with the fan motor wires, spark wire and insulator. Position the cap back over the cylinder head until flush. Secure with the 6 screws. That's how you replace the stem adapter on a Paslode IM65 Nailer.
