Today we're going to change the spark arrestor on a Honda HRX426 Lawn mower. Before starting, if the mower has just been on, the silencer will still be very hot. Allow to cool down before carrying out this operation. Firstly, remove the three flange bolts from the muffler protector. Then remove the muffler protector. Now, remove the screw from the spark arrestor. Then remove the screw. You can use pliers to gently ease the spark arrestor out. Check the carbon deposits around the exhaust port and spark arrestor. Clean if necessary. Replace the spark arrestor if there are any breaks or tears. Place the new spark arrestor back into position and secure with the screw. Then secure the cover back over the top with the three screws. That's how you change the spark arrestor on a Honda HRX426 Lawn mower.
