Today we're going to change the Injector Pipe on a Hatz 1D42S Engine. Before watching this video please watch our “how to remove the fuel tank” listed in the description below, as this step involves removal of the tank before you can access the injector pipe. When you have safely removed the fuel tank, you can remove the two bushes and two washers. Check these parts for any damage, when in doubt replace these parts. You can now unfasten the screw that attaches the injector to the pipe, this will now free the injector. Make sure that you also keep the copper washer safe, if damaged replace this part. After time the nozzle will wear or even get blocked as more fuel is flushed through. This can cause major issues to the engine. Get your new injector and place the copper washer onto the end. You will now need to connect this back to the pipe. Get the screw and place the washer over the top, and secure. Place the injector back and fix the fuel pipe back on to the top of the injector. Screw the nut back on to the injector. Now place the fuel tank back into place as recommended in our other video. That's how you replace the Injector Pipe on a Hatz 1D42S Engine.
