The Faithfull Combination Wood Auger Bit Long Series 10mm x 400mm is a carbon steel drilling bit for deep, accurate holes in wood. With a 10mm (0.39 inch) diameter and an extra-long 400mm (15.75 inch) overall length, it bores clean, straight holes while clearing chips efficiently. A pitched screw point draws the bit into the timber to start precisely with minimal wandering. Suitable for low-speed use in hand braces and power drills, including cordless drill drivers, it performs well in softwood and hardwood, plus sheet materials such as plywood, MDF, and blockwood. The durable carbon steel body and wide, flat spiral give stability and good waste ejection, while the cutting edge can be resharpened with a hand file to extend service life.
