In this video, we show you how to change the Spark Plug on a Stihl FS56 & 56R Brushcutter.

Health & Safety Warning - Please ensure that you have safely prepared the machine and workspace. If you are unsure about any aspect of the task please seek professional advice.

Today we are going to change the spark plug on a Stihl FS 56 Brushcutter. Remove the protective cap to gain access to the spark plug. Using a 16mm hex socket and wrench loosen the spark plug and remove. The end of the spark plug should be dry and a light brown colour, this means your carburettor is set right and your machine is running efficiently. Screw in the new spark plug by hand then carefully tighten with a 16mm hex socket and wrench. Caution, Do not over tighten as this may damage the thread. Now you can replace the protective cap. That is how you change a spark plug on a Stihl FS 56 Brushcutter.
