Oil & fuel absorbent socks. For use on oil, fuel and solvents. Place at the base of leaking machinery to absorb leaks on contact and reduce the spread of contamination. Use to surround a spillage to prevent further spreading and absorb on contact.

Is this product suitable as a barrier for blocking and diverting water on a patio?
I am very sorry but I don't think these are heavy duty enough for diverting water, they are designed more for soaking up small leakages from machines.

Can it be used for water, and is it reusable
This one is more for absorbing water: 865 177. They can be dried and reused but can take a very long time to dry and will only been good for a couple of reuses.
